Better Bionics develops AI models purpose-built for prosthetics that enable a scan-to-print manufacturing process. Using a limb scan as the input, generates a personalized design for an anatomy-matched socket and a multi-material 3D-printed, multiactuator myoelectric limb. Better Bionics combines AI-guided generative design, validated multi-material 3D printing, and modular electronics to improve fit consistency, comfort, and usable function while reducing the time and manual effort required in conventional fabrication. We are advancing clinical validation through pilot fitments with Hamilton Health Sciences and a collaboration with Sunnybrook, with a long-term goal of shortening time-to-fit to days or weeks and driving toward a target device price around to 12th of the current price.
