About us

Fertilead Inc. is a Canadian medical device company advancing innovative fertility technologies to improve treatment outcomes for couples experiencing male-factor infertility. Built on over a decade of microfluidics and reproductive health research, Fertilead is developing an autonomous microfluidic sperm-selection cassette designed to streamline laboratory workflows and recover a higher percentage of healthy, motile sperm without centrifugation. This gentler, standardized preparation method aims to enhance success rates for intrauterine insemination (IUI) and related fertility procedures while reducing hands-on time for embryology and andrology staff. Supported by strong clinical partnerships, a patented technology platform, and ongoing translational research, Fertilead is working toward accessible, high-performance fertility solutions that enable clinics to deliver more efficient, reliable, and patient-centered care.
