Sensible Vascular is developing a first-in-class, fully integrated thrombectomy system engineered to reliably remove the entire clot on the first attempt—one of the strongest predictors of neurological recovery after stroke. Devices today often fail to achieve first-pass success, requiring multiple passes that prolong ischemia, cause additional neuronal loss, and increase the risks of long-term disability and cognitive decline. To optimize first pass success, our system pairs a novel multi-port aspiration catheter with the world’s first polymer-covered stent retriever, enabling controlled clot engagement, active containment, and complete extraction in a single, decisive pass. By improving the speed, consistency, and effectiveness of stroke intervention, our solution directly addresses a critical gap in current care and helps protect brain function in stroke patients.
