About us

Sielo Robotics is a Canadian assistive technology company developing wheelchair-mounted robotic arms (WMRAs) to enhance independence and daily functionality for non-ambulatory individuals with upper-limb limited mobility. Our device integrates directly with power wheelchairs, allowing users to perform essential tasks such as eating, drinking, and retrieving objects without assistance. Each design iteration is guided by direct collaboration with powerchair users, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation professionals to ensure practical, safe, and intuitive operation in real-world environments. The product’s central goal is to reduce caregiver stress and improve the overall wellbeing, autonomy, and participation of people living with limited mobility. Current development focuses on achieving a lightweight, reliable, and affordable device that can be easily adapted across different wheelchair models.
